The Summit brings together Indigenous leaders, climate advocates, movement builders, artists, and national voices for a full day of conversation, learning, and visioning. Through keynotes, panels, and fireside-style discussions, participants engage with some of the most urgent issues of our time, including climate justice, Indigenous sovereignty, energy systems, food security, and the future of environmental leadership.
The day ends with the People of the Sun Honors, recognizing tribal nations, leaders, and partners who are advancing energy sovereignty and community-led climate solutions.
Day Three is a celebration of culture, creativity, and the future.
Set across the grounds at Standing Rock, the Experience Day is a music-driven cultural gathering that brings artists, musicians, designers, food makers, and activists together in an open, festival-style environment. Throughout the day, performances, art installations, fashion, and vendor experiences activate the space, inviting connection and exploration.
Whether you come to reflect, learn, connect, or celebrate, People of the Sun offers multiple ways to engage.
Each day stands on its own, and together they tell a larger story of resistance transformed into action, leadership, and possibility.
